| Ambitions: | To eventually work myself through to top flight football (including the England set up) and achieve the best from it. I also would like to gain more coaching qualifications and get involved with coaching and improving young children’s abilities. | |
| Career highlight: | Playing Arsenal last season in the 5th round of the FA Cup with Reading Royals. First time I have played against a National Premier League side. Also the furthest round I have played in, in the FA Cup to date. | |
| Male footballer(s) you admire and why: | Peter Schmeichel – because being a goalkeeper and growing up a Manchester United fan (not any longer) I was obsessed with him. Possibly the best goalkeeper in the world I aspire to be like him. The way he moved around his goal and his appearance between the sticks was amazing. Eric Cantona – Although some people may not have liked the temper he had on him he is still one of the best players England have seen in the Premiership! The way that he ran through players and played balls round his opposition was incredible. His ability as a huge man to move the way he did amazed me and well to be honest most of his goals were top class. |
|
| Female footballer(s) you admire and why: | Rachel Unitt – I think that she has a huge presence on the pitch when she is playing. She is a great left back and has the ability to head a ball away from danger and also to score with her head. She is a very strong player who will try not to let anybody get round her at all. | |
| Other achievements: | Representing Oxfordshire at Under 16 level and for Oxfordshire County Schools. Helped to set up Oxfordshire’s first disability football club. First season with Barnet FC Ladies keeping four consecutive clean sheets and breaking the previous record. |
