06/04/2010 - Ladies Chase First Silverware of the Season

Barnet FC Ladies will be aiming to lift their first trophy of the season when they play in the Middlesex County FA Women’s Senior Cup Final tomorrow (Wednesday 7 April). The Bees opponents in the Final at Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC (kick-off 7.30pm) will be FA Women’s Premier League rivals Queens Park Rangers.

14/02/2010 - Bees Move Five Points Clear

Barnet FC Ladies defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at Hanwell Town FC this afternoon in their first FAWPL Southern Division fixture since 1 November 2009. Stacey Sowden scored both Bees’ goals as we completed a league double over the Division’s bottom side. With second place Reading losing 0-1 at Cardiff City, Barnet have moved five points clear at the top of the Southern Division table.

08/02/2010 - Half Century for Katie

Bees striker Katie O’Leary made her 50th First Team appearance when she came on as an extra time substitute in yesterday’s FA Cup Fifth Round victory at West Ham United. Legs made her first team debut in August 2007 as substitute in an FAWPL Southern Division match at Brighton & Hove Albion. She marked her first start with four goals in a victory against Reading Royals. In total Katie has scored 24 goals in her first half century of appearances for the Bees.

Barnet FC Manager Ian Hendon has been a welcome supporter at each of the Bees last two FA Cup matches against Colchester United and West Ham United.

21/01/2010 - Representative Honours for Young Bees

Two of Barnet FC Ladies young players have been named in the British Colleges squad for the match against Australia at AFC Telford on Thursday 4 February. Goalkeeper Chloe Crook and Striker Emma Davies attend the Barnet FC Girls’ Academy, which is run in conjunction with Stanmore College.
