18/12/2011 - Renata Off The Bench to Score Late Equaliser
The Bees led 1-0 at half time. As early as the fourth minute, prolific striker Stacey Sowden sprung the Charlton offside trap and raced through on goal, taking the ball around the goalkeeper to score from an acute angle. It was Sowden’s twelfth goal of the season, a tally that places her amongst the league’s highest goalscorer’s.

Barnet FC Ladies temporarily moved their home ground to Uxbridge FC with Underhill unavailable and the change of venue signalled a change of fortune for the Bees. Barnet recorded a 4-2 win to end a run of three successive defeats.

Barnet FC Ladies succumbed to a surprise 0-1 defeat in the local derby encounter with Watford last weekend. For the bottom of the table side it was the first win of the season.

Barnet FC Ladies succumbed to a second successive league reverse as Reading gained revenge for their heavy defeat at Underhill earlier in the season.

Barnet FC Ladies earned a vital point from their away match against League leaders Leeds United. In a pulsating match of fluctuating fortunes Barnet fought back strongly from being a goal behind to take the lead and yet could have lost the game when Leeds missed a late penalty.
23/10/2011 - Bees Make it Three in a Row at Underhill
Barnet FC Ladies moved up to fourth in the FA Women’s Premier League National Division table after defeating Aston Villa 4-0 at Underhill. It is the Bees highest league position since being promoted to the National Division.

After two successive victories, Barnet FC Ladies winning run was brought to an end with a 0-3 defeat against Nottingham Forest at Carlton Town FC.
25/09/2011 - Bees Triumph in Local Derby
Barnet FC Ladies recorded a second consecutive win in the FA Women’s Premier League National Division on Sunday, defeating Watford 4-0 in a feisty local derby at Underhill. Stacey Sowden continued her rich vein of form with two of the Barnet goals in a match that saw Bees’ captain Danielle Murphy and two Watford players shown red cards.

The Bees defeated Reading 5-1 thanks to four goals from Stacey Sowden and a spectacular long range effort from captain Dan Murphy.
12/09/2011 - Stacey on Form as Bees Hit Five
Dan Murphy gave Barnet the lead after 12 minutes. After spotting the Reading goalkeeper off her line, the Barnet skipper hit a superb 25 yard strike into the back of the visitors’ net. The lead was short lived as Reading equalised three minutes later, Nikki Watts striking home a free kick from just outside the area.

Both teams started the match well but neither could create the clear-cut chance that could have given them the lead. New signing Rachel Watkins and Stacey Sowden both went close with long-range efforts for Barnet, whilst at the other end Bees’ goalkeeper Cherie Rowlands saved bravely at the feet of an onrushing Leeds forward.

Forest started the game in determined mood keen to gain the three points that would secure them second place in the National Division and gain a degree of revenge for their League Cup Final defeat at the hands of Barnet last month. The home side took the lead after 8 minutes when Andi Bell’s cross was deflected by Jade Dempster into her own net.

Barnet FC Ladies approached Sunday’s FAWPL National Division match against Leeds United knowing that it was vital that they earned all three points from the fixture. The Bees did not disappoint as they produced an excellent performance to defeat a Leeds United team in the top three of the table by a convincing margin.
27/03/2011 - BEES TRIUMPH IN QUARTER FINAL
Barnet FC Ladies continued their remarkable cup form with a win 3-2 against West Ham United that takes them into the Semi-Final of the FA Women’s Cup for the second year in succession. However, the Bees were forced into extra time for the second time in less than 72 hours.
24/03/2011 - SPOT ON BEES CLAIM CUP GLORY
Sally Wade and Cherie Rowlands were the Barnet FC Ladies heroes as the Bees won a penalty shoot out against Nottingham Forest to claim the FA Women’s Premier League Cup at Wycombe Wanderers FC on Thursday.
13/02/2011 - Bees Claim Final Spot
Barnet got off to the best possible start when Stacey Sowden calmed the nerves with an opening goal within three minutes. The visitors failed to clear a corner and as the ball fell to Sowden on the far side of the box, she turned inside and unleashed a left footed shot that flew past goalkeeper Louise Worsfold into the net.

The Bees held a 1-0 interval lead over the Midlands Combination side after Captain Danielle Murphy struck home from the edge of the penalty area on 33 minutes after good work by Emma Davies.

The Bees took the lead after only seven minutes when Stacey Sowden seized on defensive indecision to fire home from 12 yards. Millwall were back on level terms seven minutes later through Lyndsey Morgan.
23/01/2011 - Bees to face Portsmouth in the League Cup Semi-Final
It is the second season in succession that the Bees have played in the semi-final of a national cup competition, having reached the last four of last season's FA Women’s Cup. It is the club's best run in the FA Women's Premier League Cup since joining forces with Barnet FC in 1998. However, they did win the competition in 1996 under the name of Wembley Ladies FC beating Doncaster Belles in the final, which ironically was played at Underhill.
16/01/2011 - Bees Grab First Win in Style
The match was given the go-ahead on a difficult surface only after a lengthy pitch inspection by the match referee, Mr Ernie Moore. Watford started the match strongly and Barnet goalkeeper, Cherie Rowlands was forced into an excellent full length save from Lilliie Billson's effort. Holly Miles also went close to giving the visitors the lead but could only shoot wide from close range.

The visitors took the lead after 32 minutes after Kim Stenning struck a ferocious shot from distance that passed into the goal via the underside of the cross bar.

Barnet included Natasha Dowie, who was dual signed from Super League Everton in midweek, in their team for the first time. The England International had the ball in the net early on, only for the assistant referee to raise her flag for offside.

The Bees took the lead after 15 minutes when Cheryl Williams found the top corner of the net with a free-kick from the edge of the penalty area.

Riana Soobadoo scored twice in the opening 10 minutes of the second half, her second goal coming from the penalty spot.
11/10/2010 - BEES LOSE OUT TO LATE WINNER
Barnet began the match the better of the two sides and the best chance of the opening twenty minutes fell to the visitors. Cheryl Williams worked herself into a position on the edge of the penalty area and unleashed a shot that went just wide.
19/09/2010 - Bees Capture Point Against League Leaders
In a tight opening to the match Sandow and the visitors' Stainthorpe both went close. Barnet's best chance came after 38 minutes when Jess Trimnell's close range effort from Sandow's cross was blocked by the Forest keeper and Stacey Sowden was unable to snap up the rebound. A minute later the dangerous Sandow's effort from Danielle Murphy's free-kick was turned over.
12/09/2010 - Bees Safely Through to Last Sixteen
Prior to the Bees taking the lead, Holly Sandow had the ball in net after 23 minutes only for her effort to be ruled out for a foul on the goal keeper. Three minutes later Sandow also forced the West Ham keeper to parry her powerful shot.
05/09/2010 - Hard Fought Draw for Bees
The Bees began the match in lively fashion and took the lead after only five minutes. Holly Sandow and Stacey Sowden raced clear of the indecisive home defence and Sandow fired home for her fourth goal of the season.

22/08/2010 - Bees Suffer Opening Day Defeat
Barnet FC Ladies suffered defeat on their FA Women's Premier League National Division debut despite dominating the possession for most of the match against Reading FC Women at Hanwell Town FC last Sunday. The visitors claimed the points with a 2-1 win.
